Every year, our Pathfinder Club enthusiastically participates in Derby Day, a vibrant event organized by the New York Conference at Union Springs Academy. This year, our dedicated pathfinders and enthusiastic staff focused their efforts on completing the Rocks and Minerals honor, diving deep into the fascinating world of geology. After the sunset, the gymnasium was magically transformed into a lively racing track, setting the stage for the exhilarating 2024 pinewood derby car race. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as clubs cheered on their racers. We were thrilled to celebrate our achievements, bringing home several trophies, including fastest speed and the most creative design. The camaraderie and spirit of competition made this event truly unforgettable.
